Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated individual to fill the role of Estimator. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and preparing competitive bids for steel fabrication projects. This role requires a strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.

 

Requirements:

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine material and labor requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to gather necessary information for project estimation.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for steel fabrication projects.
• Utilize estimating software and tools to generate accurate cost projections.
• Review supplier quotes and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive bids.
• Present estimates to clients and provide explanations or clarifications as needed.
• Track and manage project budgets throughout the bidding process.
• Assist in the development of project schedules and timelines.
• Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and market conditions to optimize bidding strategies.
